The Wandering Nannies was founded by Shannon and Jazz, qualified maternity nurses who came together to offer a team with specialist childcare solutions. We are a team of experienced Nannies and Maternity Nurses providing high quality childcare across the UK, Ireland and worldwide. Our nannies and maternity nurses are First Aid Trained, with DBS Certificates on the Update Service and fully insured, regularly updating their training in line with the latest practice guidelines. With offices in Norfolk and Belfast we are pleased to offer our services in the UK, Ireland as well as worldwide – and can provide these services at very short notice for any period of time. Shannon is 31 years old and has worked as a nanny for 12 years throughout Europe and further afield, with particular skills in sleep, baby care and travelling with multiple children families. She is OCN level 4 qualified in post-natal maternity nurse care, baby massage and has completed OCN level 4 gentle sleep training. With many years experience in short term roles, adaptability to support each families needs is key.
Jazz is 29 years old and has worked in childcare and education for over 9 years, spending the last 4 years travelling the world with families and working with babies. She has a BA in Childhood Studies, as well as a Level 4 OCN Certificate in Maternity Nurse Care, and has particular experience with twins and multiple children families. Jazz enjoys getting children outside into nature and facilitating child centered and sensory activities.
